چکیده
Objective: To compare the corneal stromal demarcation line depth after Epithelium-On and Epithelium-Off crosslinking in patients with keratoconus using anterior segment Optical Coherence Tomography (AS-OCT).
 Study design: Quasi-experimental study.
Place Duration of Study: Armed Forces Institute Ophthalmology, Rawalpindi Pakistan from Jun 2018 to 2019.
Methodology: This study included (60 eyes) progressive treated procedure CXL (corneal cross linkage). There were 30 eyes each group. Two different protocols Corneal linkage performed, divided into two groups according protocol: 1) epithelium-on cross-linkage, 2) epithelium-off crosslinkage. In First-Group, cross-linkage,corneal epithelium was not removed, riboflavin solution instilled on cornea for one hour, exposed Ultraviolet A rays. Epithelium off cross-linkage,after removed by spatula, minutes, Ultraviolet-A rays focused cornea. After month procedure, Anterior performed.Demarcation measured corneas all both groups, findings compared.
Results: The similar there no statistical difference between groups. mean value 277.13±107.09 цm (p>0.05).
Conclusion: procedures so it concluded that cross-linkage comparable cross-linkage.

متن کاملChange of Optical Intensity during Healing Process of Corneal Wound on Anterior Segment Optical Coherence Tomography
The purpose of this study is to investigate the process of corneal wound healing after penetrating injury with the change in optical intensity on anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) and to investigate factors associated with severity of corneal scar. Forty-seven eyes from 47 patients with repaired corneal laceration were included. AS-OCT was performed on 1day, 1week, 1, 3 and...
